I've been delighted in this season of True Detective very much, I discover the acting, direction, and cinematography exceptional. But I feel that a ton of the narrating components and character components that TD is as of now being commended for could've been discovered a year ago for any individual who saw Hannibal. The moderate moving scenes, the uncomfortably maniacal heroes, the idea of one case for an entire season, the complex riddle psyche screw, the utilisation of lighting and landscape to make terrible things exceptionally lovely, the extreme character studies. I'm not saying TD isn't great, I simply don't see (other than a couple of things, in the same way as that single shot ending drama of Ep. 4) why it is by all accounts getting appreciated for "changing TV", when an alternate incredible show did likewise a year ago.
